A working engineer, not a sales pitch.
I spend most of my year embedded with a single employer on a rotational schedule — two months on, two months off. That structure leaves real time between rotations, and I prefer to spend it doing focused contract work for organizations that need a competent IT professional for a defined window.
I'm hands-on with the stack most mid-market IT environments actually run: RHEL and Windows servers, VMware and Nutanix clusters, Cisco switching and firewalls, Rubrik backup, NetApp storage. RHCSA-certified, with DoD STIG hardening experience for federal and regulated environments.
What you get: someone who can drop into a runbook, ship a migration, harden a fleet, or just cover an admin gap — without a six-week ramp-up.
