Accessibility statement

Last updated

Lone Star Specialist is committed to making this site usable for everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. We build it to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What we do

  • Every image carries descriptive alternative text.
  • Pages use a single, logical heading order and labeled landmark regions.
  • A "skip to main content" link is available for keyboard and screen-reader users.
  • Form controls have associated labels, and status messages are announced to screen readers.
  • Color contrast meets AA thresholds, and the layout permits pinch-to-zoom without loss of content.
  • The site works without JavaScript for its core content and navigation.

Ongoing effort

Accessibility is not a one-time check. As pages are added or changed, we re-test against WCAG 2.1 AA (and the newer 2.2 AA criteria where they apply). No site is ever perfect; if something here gets in your way, we want to hear about it and fix it.

Requesting an accommodation

If you encounter a barrier on this site, or need information in a different format, email kevin.kirk@lonestarspec.com with the page address and a short description of the problem. We aim to respond the same business day and to provide the content you need in an accessible form.
